Outfit of the day (OOTD)

Today's outfit of the day is simple but stylish at the same time! I have had this cobalt blue skirt for a little while now and finally found the perfect opportunity to wear it. Originally, I wasn't sure what to pair it with, so I took it easy and added some cute accessories on the way. This outfit consist of a white Ralph Lauren button up (Marshall's), a cobalt blue Darjonj skirt (Marshall's), black Donald Pliner heels, pyramid studs (FOREVER 21), my favorite watch (Nordstrom), and a fun double chain necklace (Gap).

Next time I wear this I plan on pairing it with a colorful statement necklace to make the skirt POP!

STRIPES! I am in love with stripes. Stripes are perfect for all occasions, interviews, school, hanging out , you name it. (Matter if fact this is the dress I wore to my interview for MoD)

Black and white stripes are IDEAL for color blocking. You can compliment a striped black and white top with a pair of yellow pants (or any other color of your choosing) for a POP of color. Dare to be different! Try something other than black, white and red.

In this OOTD I simply paired my striped dress (Marshalls) with a gold Juicy Couture chain necklace, a black blazer and a PAIR OF BCBG, Black and white open toe wedges.

One time I did an fun bun updo and then another time I did straight hair.

Outfit Of The Day (OOTD)

Today's outfit of the day is one of my FAVORITE dresses! This ethnic print dress is an easy transitional outfit. It acts as a summer dress but can be easily transformed into a fall ensemble by adding a pair of fall boots, knee high socks, and a cute jean jacket.

I paired this ethnic print dress with a taupe pair of Steve Madden flats...

 and a fabulous snake ring from MoD and a gold bracelet from a friend.

With fall quickly creeping in, these new leggings are a great addition to any wardrobe. Leggings can look tacky with the wrong footwear! I prefer flats or boots. . If you’re planning to wear a shirt with your leggings, it should be long and have some volume to balance out the tightness of your bottoms.

The charcoal cut out leggings are Rihanna inspired!

What is MoD Fashion?

MoD (abbreviated for Modern) Fashion is a fabulous boutique located in Northville, Michigan. MoD is new to town and and recently opened its doors in June of 2012. Owner and buyer of the merchandise, Ashley Mizzi, had always envisaged owning and operating her own boutique carrying the trendiest fashion brands in blouses, business casual shirts, dresses, jackets, skirts, vests; jewelry, handbags and scarfs. She states, 
“I love the versatility of my clothing; which is why I consider all of my garments as transitional day-to-night wear. I am not discriminate to size whatsoever, which is why I carry apparel in sizes 4-to-16”. Ashley buys her items from vendors in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Germany. Some of the brands she houses are: Harvey Punch, Must Have, Double Zero, Millibon usa, Tea N Rose, Hello Miss, Naked Zebra, and Sweet Rain.
